Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most dramatic, inspiring, and beautiful historical locations in the world. A mythical past of feuding dynasties suits Sigiriya’s striking settingit was built in the 5th century AD by the king, Kasyapa, as a fortress-palace Worthy of being called the “8th wonder of the world”, Sigiriya is Sri Lanka’s answer to the Taj Mahal and will astonish anyone with its outstandingly beautiful views, staggering engineering, and peerless design.

Day 01 Program

  • After arrival proceed to Sigiriya.
  • Visit The Sigiriya "Eighth Wonder of the World".
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Dambulla.

Kandy is a major city in Sri Lanka, located in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It was the last capital of the ancient .kings' era of Sri Lanka. Kandy, also known as the cultural capital of Sri Lanka, has a lot in store for tourists. The city is nestled on a plateau which is surrounded by mountains that make up tea plantations and rainforests. At an altitude of 500m above sea level, Kandy offers a much cooler and relaxed climate when compared to Colombo. Places to visit in Kandy include the beautiful Kandy Lake located at the heart of the city, around which most of the city revolves.

Day 02 Program

  • After arrival proceeds to Kandy.
  • Get to know about Sri Lankan spices, take a part in Spice Village Tour.
  • Get to know about the most famous Ceylon Gems.
  • Learn about how Sri Lankan Handicrafts & famous batics are being done.
  • Visit one of the biggest attractions in Sri Lanka, Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Also known as “Kandy” Temple & “Dalada Maligawa”).
  • Later if time permits take a part in Sri Lankan Traditional Cultural Show.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Kandy.

After breakfast take an interesting visit to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is a resort city in the Central Mountain Range of Sri Lanka. Blessed with salubrious climate, breathtaking views of valleys, meadows, mountains, and greenery. Nuwara Eliya can be reached from Colombo via Kandy, the gateway to the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. Colombo-Kandy-Nuwara Eliya is the most scenic highland motor road of Sri Lanka. The journey to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy by train as well as by car is equally spectacular. The alternative route to Nuwara Eliya from Colombo is via Hatton located in the southern area of the Central Highlands. Nuwara Eliya at an elevation of 1890 meters above sea level, the highest city in Sri Lanka lies beneath the tallest peak of the island.

Day 03 Program

  • After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Nuwara Eliya.
  • On the way to Nuwara Eliya (Little England), near the “Ramboda” area stop at “Shri Bhakta Hanuman” Hindu Temple for a few minutes.
  • Prepare your cameras. The next stop will be at the beautiful “Ramboda” waterfall.
  • Make sure you pack your camera, there will be a few stops to capture the breathtaking views of Sri Lankan greeny hills.
  • Famous stopover on the way to Sri Lankan hills, “Labukale” tea plantation.
  • If you’re interested in India & Sri Lanka's history and Rama Seetha's ancient story, you should pay a visit to this place and learn the history behind it.
  • Experience tea culture in Sri Lanka, if interested participate in a full-on tea tour to experience the most famous Ceylon Tea to the best.
  • In your free time, take some time to visit Gregory Lake for sunset & walk around in “Little England”.
  • Overnight stay at hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

After breakfast set off for Ella by train (subjected to availability), a picturesque journey packed with beautiful mountains, waterfalls, and tea plantations. The train takes about 3 hours. Upon your arrival at Ella Railway Station, your driver picks you up and takes an interesting visit to Ella. Ella is a small town in the Badulla District of Uva Province, Sri Lanka. It is situated at an elevation of 1,041 meters (3,415 ft) above sea level. The area has a rich bio-diversity, dense with numerous varieties of flora and fauna. Ella is surrounded by hills covered with cloud forests and tea plantations. The town has a cooler climate than the surrounding lowlands, due to its elevation. The Ella Gap allows views across the southern plains of Sri Lanka.

Note: The train for the sector of Ella - Nuwara Eliya is not only a scenic train for tourists but also public transport carrier for local people, which means that getting hands-on a reserved seat especially during the peak period is pretty tough, no matter how early we make the reservation. In case tickets were sold out. 

Day 04 Program

  • After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Ella.
  • Prepare your cameras. The next stop will be at the beautiful “Ravana” waterfall.
  • Make sure you pack your camera, then climb little Adams’ Peak to capture the breathtaking views of Sri Lankan greeny hills.
  • Famous stopover on the way to “ Demodara 9 Arche Bridge”.
  • In your free time, take some time to visit & walk around in “Ella City”.
  • In the evening proceed to Yala & overnight stay at hotel in Yala.

Yala National Park is the oldest national park in Sri Lanka and it is extended over two provinces, namely Uva & Southern. It lies within Monaragala & Hambantota districts.Yala National Park covers about 97,880.7 hectares, the multifarious ecosystem ranging from the Moist Monsoon Forest to other natural compartments. Yala is an ideal place to spot the “big four” of Sri Lankan wildlife, the elephants, the sloth bear, the elusive leopard, and the wild buffalo, the unsung denizen of the park if nothing else dangerous to the extreme. Kumbukkan Oya in the North East and Menik Ganga and tributaries on the West, flow through the Park providing a source of water to the animals. Yala plays a very significant role in the conservation of a large number of floras and fauna in the country. Yala West (Ruhuna) National Park is well recognized as one of the best parks in the world to observe and photograph leopards. The park covers an area of over 100,000 hectares.

Day 05 Program

  • After breakfast take a full day jeep safari to Yala National Park is home to a huge variety of wildlife such as leopards, bears, elephants, wild boars, deers, peacocks, and jungle fowls.
  • In the Evening proceed to Mirissa for an overnight stay.

Galle is thriving. The fortified old town is enjoying an artistic renaissance and the beautiful beaches around it are dotted with luxurious villas and classy boutique hotels. The revival of Galle has quietly influenced its coastline, which has regained its confidence and which has become a favored retreat for intelligent, independent travelers. It is this area – both north and south of the town -- where Galle’s pull is at its strongest that we prefer to term the Galle coast. Galle’s main attraction is the 17C Dutch Fort, a UNESCO-protected World Heritage site. But Galle is also the gateway to seductive sandy coves and the coastal villages of Unawatuna, Thalpe, Koggala, and Habaraduwa.

Day 06 Program

  • After breakfast proceeds to Bentota.
  • En-route visit Galle.
  • Then Walk the outer walls/ramparts of Galle fort.
  • Next visit the famous Galle fort lighthouse.
  • Watch the sunset from Galle fort wall.
  • The next stop will be the luxury charismatic holiday destination of Hikkaduwa.
  • If you are interested do board-surfing in a well-known international destination for board-surfing.  In the evening proceed to Bentota for an overnight stay.

Bentota Beach is a 130 km stretch of beach in a small tranquil fishing village and it is treated as the starting point of the southern cost beach resorts. The sea is excellent for swimming all year around, and there is always a breeze, making even a mid-day stroll to the markets enjoyable. One of the major tourist attractions here is seeing the fresh catch brought by the colorful fishing boats early in the morning and a turtle hatchery is located nearby.

Day 07 Program

  • After breakfast take an interesting visit to Bentota.
  • Visit the Madu Ganga Boat Safari. This one-hour tour takes you on a boat safari through the primitive depths of the mangrove marshes in the Madu River.
  • Next, take a very different experience from the rest of Sri Lanka. It was a pleasure to see the craftsmen at work making the beautiful, bright masks.
  • In the evening, visit the Kosgoda Turtle Care – Sri Lanka’s Part in Turtle Conservation.
  • Then proceed to Colombo for an overnight stay.

This buzzing city used to be the country’s capital city, is now one of the cleanest cities in Sri Lanka. Check out the crystal white Race Course – that used to be the horse racing hub in 1893 but is now furnished with the latest clothes boutiques, restaurants, and tea shops. You could even travel to Pettah and witness the famous ‘floating market’ for a new kind of shopping experience, or the famous Colombo Port City which is an offshore city featuring parks, commercial complexes, and even an F1 track. If you head towards Bauddhaloka Mawatha, you would come across the “Arcade”. This building features the best designer-branded shopping boutiques, souvenir shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. One of its unique aspects is the ‘walk-over fish tank’ that has made this spot one of the trendiest and coolest hangout spots in Colombo.

Day 08 Program

  • After breakfast at the hotel visit Galle Face Green & Old Parliament in Sri Lanka.
  • Witness busy Colombo fort Bazar, Red mosque & Dutch museum.
  • Our driver will take you to the “Gangarama” Buddhist temple. Don’t forget to take a few beautiful memories.
  • Take a small walk in the Green Path & Viharamahadevi Park. Witness some beautiful Ceylon paintings.
  • Next, visit Independence Square, Independence arcade & drive pass BMICH.
  • Later continue with shopping (ODEL / Noritake / House of Fashion /Ceylon Tea Shops/ Sri Lankan handicrafts & many more).
  • This is the last day you spend on this beautiful island.
  • At times you will be escorted to the airport for your departure flight.
